In 2007, the Western Association of Broadcasters introduced our scholarship program recognizing excellence in broadcasting students in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The WAB has partnered with the SAB and BAM and provides funds to increase existing scholarships offered in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We also provide scholarships in Alberta to SAIT & NAIT. Our annual scholarship contribution is $6,000 spread evenly among the three provinces.

Founded in 1935, the Western Association of Broadcasters (WAB) is an association of and for the independent radio and television stations of Western Canada. Its objective is to foster and promote the development of the art of broadcasting.
